What is the 8 Point Lift?

Dr Sabba

19th July 2017

The 8 point lift also known as the non-surgical face lift was created by the famous Brazilian plastic surgeon Mauricio de Maio.  It involves the placement of hyaluronic acid dermal filler into eight strategic points in the face to help treat signs of aging and facial skin laxity using the latest advanced techniques.  This is not a one-sized fits all approach though.  Everyone ages differently and I therefore tailor the number of areas and the amount of filler placed to the individual after a thorough consultation and assessment of the upper, lower and mid-face.

So where are the 8 points?

Treating various points in the face such as the cheeks, tear troughs and nasolabial folds help lift and improve the contours of the mid face and also provide structure to help lift any sagging in the lower third of the face.  There are also various points in the lower face such as the corners of the mouth and jawline which are targeted to help provide definition and improve the facial profile.

Who would benefit from this?

It is ideal for anyone who is starting to notice some laxity such as sagging skin, tired eyes and jowls.  This most often develops in people in their early thirties onwards.  Treating at the earliest onset is advised as it often means less dermal filler is required.

What products are used and how long does it last?

The premium range of fillers from the Juvederm Vycross range are used.  These fillers which include Volbella, Volift and Voluma help to enhance your natural features beautifully and last up to 15-18 months and even longer in some cases.

How much does it cost?

The 8 point lift or non-surgical face-lift starts from £790
