Bruxism (Jaw Clenching)

Excessive teeth grinding or jaw clenching can lead to dental pain, headaches and neck/shoulder pains. It can also cause the jaw to appear heavier and squarer.

Treatment with Botox injections prevents jaw clenching and can also lead to a slimmer appearance to the lower face.

How is this achieved?

The masseter muscle is treated with Botox and over time this will reduce its size and subsequent strength so that you will not be able to excessively clench the jaw or grind your teeth.
