Temple Hollow Treatment

The temple is not usually an area that most people are aware of when it comes to facial aesthetic rejuvenation. However changes to the facial structure can be very ageing and volume loss in this area causes hollowing either side of the face making someone appear gaunt and unhealthy.  Treatment with dermal filler softens this area, improving the contours of the face and restoring facial structure and a more youthful and healthy appearance. It also helps to open up the eye area and lift the tail of the eyebrow.

How is this achieved?

A long-lasting dermal filler is injected to re-volumise the dips either side of the upper face.

How long does the treatment take?

One hour is allocated to this procedure although the injecting time is less than this. Time is spent in the appointment carefully cleaning and disinfecting the skin, for clinical photographs to be taken and to carefully mark the skin. Numbing cream is also applied.  It is very important to never rush a treatment.  Keeping safe and minimising the risk of complications is always the priority.

Does it hurt?

As numbing cream is applied for 15 minutes prior to the procedure it is virtually painless.  The filler itself also contains a local anaesthetic making this a very well tolerated treatment.

When will I see results?

Results are instant and there is further improvement over a four-week period as the dermal filler integrates into the temple area.

How long does the treatment last?

Results usually last 1-2 years in the majority of patients making this a very long-lasting procedure.  Over time the filler gradually breaks down and the result will fade.  At this point the treatment can be repeated.

What are the side-effects?

There may be some redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising after the treatment, but these side effects should subside within a few days.  Following the procedure patients can usually continue with their day as normal.

Will I need a check-up?

Aftercare is very important to Dr Sabba so a four-week follow-up is arranged for all patients in order to review the final result and to discuss whether any further treatment is needed.

What is the cost?

Treatment starts from £595
